Custom fitted clubs built locally are generally less expensive ( no huge mark ups) than off the rack golf clubs. Custom golf clubs are fit to your size, swing speed, playing characteristics, hand size and design criteria. You chose a club head, shaft, grip, and then the club is assembled with frequency matched shafts, proper length, swing weights and  grip size.

All golf club heads used for assembly are designed by Ralph Maltby. Golf club head design criteria pioneered by MR. Maltby more than 2 decades ago is now just filtering its way into rack clubs. Advertizing buzz words like “ultra Game improvement “, the advertizing emphases on things like MOI (moment of Inertia) and center of gravity were lifted from the Maltby Playability Factor book first publishes in 2005.  The book rates 333 individual clubs by playability factor.  Sometimes there is a good reason you can’t hit a club and it may not be you.   Rating info on your club is available at Gary's Golf.
